Second floor: bedrooms and baths
What a difference a week makes.
Each week this all gets a little more insane for me. I've been living with the “I'll be moving soon” philosophy for awhile now. What I have to realize is that the “soon” that I keep talking about is coming approaching very quickly!
As for the street, both of my neighbours-to-be have brick on their walls and shingles on their roof. In fact, things are moving very quickly up-and-down the street. Because of this, it's becoming more and more interesting each visit; I've started trying to figure out the layouts of the neighbouring homes now.
The biggest shock for me this weekend was on the second floor. The entrance to (what will be) my computer room was angled. “I don't have any angled walls?!”, I exclaimed. I racked my brain for one... trying to go over the floor plan in my head, just in case I'd got turned around in all the excitement. Minutes later, I called my mom; I had her check the plans. Sure enough, that doorway is supposed to be on a 45 degree angle. So, today's lesson for everyone is: before you scare yourself into thinking that the builder has decided to change your second floor, always have the floor plan with you when visiting the site.
